Black Panther Teaser Trailer

What a time to be alive! Marvel released the first look at Black Panther in his upcoming stand-alone film. There is so much to get excited about in the nearly two-minute long “teaser” trailer. Namely, the intense action sequences, the mystery surrounding the little-known Wakanda, and that ending with the logo? TOO CLEAN. The only downside to the news? We have to wait until FEBRUARY 2018 to see it! Check out the teaser below.

I’m personally looking forward to watching T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman) and Kilmonger (Michael B. Jordan) battle it out as they are fierce opponents in the comics. It will also be interesting to find out the connection between Klaw (Andy Serkis) and Kilmonger. If you remember, Ulysses Klaue briefly appeared in Avengers: Age of Ultron where he lost his arm to Ultron. He is another popular foe who repeatedly attempted to usurp T’Challa’s throne.

Lupita Nyong’o shows up in the above clip as does Florence Kosumba. Both are members of the Dora Milaje and I’m over the moon about the fact that they will play a major part in the action. I can’t wait to see them kick butt and take names! It may be a little premature, but I’m already thinking that we’re about to get a fire soundtrack out of this whole deal too!

Black Panther hits theaters February 16, 2018. It is directed by one of my favorite working directors Ryan Coogler and stars: Chadwick Boseman, Lupita Nyong’o, Michael B. Jordan, Andy Serkis, Danai Gurira, Sterling K. Brown, Daniel Kaluuya, Angela Basset, Martin Freeman and Forest Whitaker (that we know of so far!)
