Thor: Ragnarok Teaser

Marvel released the first teaser trailer for the upcoming film Thor: Ragnarok. There is definitely a lot going on in the short clip. Check it out below:

We get our first good look at baddie Hela (Cate Blanchett) and she’s definitely up to no good. She destroys Thor’s mighty hammer Mjolnir and launches an attack onΒ Asgard like we’ve never seen. As if all that isn’t stressful enough, Thor hasΒ to fight former friend The Hulk, who seems even angrier than the last time we saw him. I must admit that Thor’s films have always been the weakest (of the Avengers) in my opinion, but that just may change after this installment.

Thor: Ragnarok will be in theaters November 3, 2017. It is directed by Taika Waititi and stars Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Cate Blanchett, Tom Hiddleston, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jamie Alexander, Jeff Goldblum, Idris Elba, Karl Urban, Tessa Thompson and Anthony Hopkins.

What do you think of the trailer? Are you excited to travel to Asgard again? Leave a reply below! πŸ™‚Β

  1. It’s funny, I liked the first Thor movie but the second one was a letdown. I really hope this one delivers. It does look like it’s trying to cover a lot of ground. Just judging from this teaser it has a lot of information that needs to give us. For example the entire gladiator Hulk thing. It comes from a storyline in the comic called Planet Hulk which was really interesting. But there was a lot to it and I’m not sure how they are going to fit it into a Thor movie. I guess we will see in November.

    1. The first one was definitely better than the second, but something just seems to be missing from Thor’s stand-alone movies. I think Hemsworth is more than capable in the role so I hope they get the formula right this time around. There definitely are a lot of moving pieces, but if they can make Civil War work this should be a breeze. I wasn’t even aware of the backstory from the comics so you’re right it will be interesting to see that play out. Thanks for reading & commenting Keith! πŸ™‚
